Description:
Silk is a black dyed braided and coated non-absorbable thread made od natural silk filaments

which are spun from silkworm larval cocoons. Black surgical silk braided on a twisted core

to provide greater tensile strength. The silicone coating treament ansd the new braiding

technique render the silks surface smooth and uniform to facilitate its handling.
